DBT (Direct-Benefit-Transfer)

DBT or Direct-Benefit-Transfer is an attempt to change the mechanism of transferring subsidies launched by the Government of India on 01st January 2013. The National Committee on DBT decided to start the DBT rollout in 26 identified schemes in 43 districts from 01st January 2013 in a phase-wise manner. The successful implementation of DBT rests on the twin pillars of Aadhaar (UIDAI) generation and financial inclusion of the beneficiaries. DBT envisages a switch from the present electronic transfer of benefits to bank accounts of the beneficiary to the transfer of benefits directly to Aadhaar seeded bank accounts of Beneficiaries.

ProEins team supported from the analysis phase to the final deployment phase of the DBT scheme for various Agriculture sectors in Uttar Pradesh (i.e. implementation of the transfer of subsidy to farmer's registered bank account directly). Under this, registered beneficiaries(here farmers) will get subsidized benefits on various items (like seeds, fertilizers, machinery etc.) given by State/Central Government in order to support farmers. Our team was involved from day one and has helped out the organization in successfully implementing the concept. The entire concept, design, development, testing & database structure was implemented in a phase-wise manner. The entire software application was majorly developed in MS.NET technologies and used some other technologies.

  • Total Registered & Managed Beneficiary : 30 Million (approx.)
  • Implementation of e-KYC concept
  • Record of complete audit trail
  • Recognized by the University of Cambridge
  • Recognized the procedure of DBT adopted by Uttar Pradesh may be considered for implementation in other states of India

O&M for Rural Water Supplies

The objective of the efficient operation and maintenance (O&M) of a water supply system is to provide safe drinking water as per designed quality and quantity, with adequate pressure at a convenient location and time at a competitive cost on a sustainable basis.

“Operation refers to the timely and daily operation of the components of a Water Supply system such as headwork, treatment plant, machinery and equipment, conveying mains, service reservoirs and distribution system etc., effectively by various technical personnel, as a routine function.”

“Maintenance is defined as the act of keeping the structures, plants, machinery and equipment and other facilities in an optimum working order”. Maintenance includes preventive /routine maintenance and also breakdown maintenance. However, replacements, correction of defects etc. are considered as actions excluded from preventive maintenance.

Water supply and sanitation is treated as a State subject as per the Constitution of India and, therefore, the States are responsible for the planning, Implementation, operation and cost recovery of water supply and sanitation projects. It has been observed that lack of attention to the important aspect of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of water supply schemes in several villages often leads to their dysfunction or deterioration of the useful life of the systems necessitating premature replacement of many components, incurring huge losses.

The entire project is all about the smooth functioning of the entire rural water supply schemes and the management associated with O&M via vendor or the respective selected agency.

  • Implementation in entire state of Uttar Pradesh
  • Automation of all Pump House and OHTs
  • Real-Time Monitoring System using GIS
  • Implement all as-built drawings to GIS module
  • Automation using SCADA & IoT
  • Complete Funds Tracking & Disbursement
  • Integrated Asset Tracking System
  • Integration of various Sensors & Embedded systems
